Work-life balance is that arrangement of life where you can enjoy stress-free work life along with having comfortable family time. The importance of work-life balance is increasing because jobs demand additional time from an employee for which he or she has to sacrifice the family ties & duties over there.

Tips to make work-life balance effective

  • The first thing to do is to make a list of things to complete a day.

  • Make a plan regarding series of tasks to complete with amount of time needed.

  • Mark the critical tasks & carry out that first, with fresh energy in office.

  • Point out the distractible that make you lag behind.

  • Do not answer to every call while you are working.

  • Send text instead that you will reach later.

  • If it requires one hour extra, spend that time in office to finish the task.

  • Once done with the tasks, go home with fresh mind without any baggage.

  • Once you greet family, do not carry the tension of office along with.

  • In emergency, convince family that you will be extra busy.

So, work-life balance will be no more of an issue of hazard & difficulty rather a systematic & planned approach can make work-life balance a pleasing experience.
